Named for the year its building was constructed, this breakfast eatery has enjoyed a long and successful career and is still going strong. Even though the restaurant has remained in the same place for its entire run, the surrounding neighborhood was transformed in the interim. The wood-framed building began as part of a lumber company and now rests in the middle of an eclectic shopping center. One thing that hasn't changed through the years is the popularity of the food. Breakfast is hot and filling, and portions are large. Business folk clamor for the omelets, scrambled eggs, and other traditional dishes, along with lighter options, such as yogurt.
